THE COMPLETE SPORTS BIKE
The Ducati Multistrada family of sport bikes excel on every road with amazing sports performance, outstanding comfort and everyday-use versatility. Ideal for a day in the mountains, the daily commute or a weekend tour, the Multistrada offers sport bike aggression on twisty roads, yet is smooth and relaxed when scenery beckons.
NEW COLOUR RANGE
The Multistrada 1100 is available in classic Ducati red. For the Multistrada 1100 S, the already famous Ducati pearl white livery has been introduced. The new shade is used against the ‘racing grey’ of the frame and with the precious carbon fibre components that characterise the sporting set-up of this model, giving this bike an extremely classy, stylish look.
VERSATILITY AND COMFORT FOR YOUR DRIVING PLEASURE
Developed on the winding mountain roads and city streets of Northern Italy, the Multistrada is a real-world motorcycle for real-world riders. It is a dream come true: a high performance sport bike that doesn't compromise comfort, versatility or practicality.
The Multistrada breaks down all barriers. Its unique versatility is a matter of design. On mountain roads its impressive cornering performance comes by way of Superbike-grade suspension, world-class brakes and the renowned Ducati Trellis frame. For long journeys, the longer-travel suspension smoothes the way, vibration-isolated handlebars reduce fatigue and the relaxed riding position optimises comfort for both rider and passenger. In town the agile chassis, wide bars and broad power of the 1100 engine make crossing city traffic an adventure to look forward to.
This extreme versatility and all-round performance prompted US magazine Cycle World to nominate the Multistrada 'Best Sport Tourer'.
DESMOPOWER
The Multistrada 1100 is powered by the Ducati 2-valve, air-cooled 1100, Desmodromic Dual Spark L-Twin engine, giving it lightning-fast acceleration with outstanding linear power delivery even from low engine speeds. The Multistrada engine achieves its 1100 status thanks to a big 98mm bore and a short stroke of 71.5mm to produce an impressive 95hp and astounding low-end torque.
The 1100 also features a wet clutch, dramatically reducing noise and ensuring a more progressive action and feel for the rider.
The Dual Spark ignition on the Multistrada 1100 optimises combustion temperatures, increases maximum power and torque throughout the rpm range, enhances reliability and reduces fuel consumption. These features combine to make the Multistrada Euro 3 compliant.
